Wellbeing Workshops
We were delighted to welcome Carlos from Hip Psychology to our school today for two inspiring workshops with our P4-5 and P6-7 children.
The focus of the day was on mental well-being and equipping our pupils with the tools they need to navigate their emotions. Carlos guided the children through practical strategies that they can easily incorporate into their weekly routines to help build resilience.
During the sessions, the children focused on developing essential emotional intelligence skills, including:
-
Optimism: Looking for the positives in challenging situations.
-
Kindness: The importance of being kind to oneself and others.
-
Empathy: Understanding the feelings of those around them.
A huge thank you to Carlos for such an engaging and valuable experience.
