What a brilliant day we enjoyed at our annual Sports Day! The weather was on our side and the field was full of smiles, laughter and excitement from start to finish.
Our pupils took part in a fantastic range of events, showing energy, determination and great team spirit throughout. The sprint races were full of speed and excitement, while the ever-popular sack race provided plenty of fun and laughter. The egg and spoon race tested everyone’s concentration and balance and the beanbag throw highlighted some impressive accuracy. We were also delighted with the effort shown in the cross country race, where pupils demonstrated excellent stamina and perseverance. The penalty shoot-outs were a huge success too, with some fantastic goals and enthusiastic support from the sidelines.
We are extremely proud of all our pupils for their wonderful effort, positive attitudes and encouragement of one another. It was a joy to see such great sportsmanship and teamwork on display. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. Special thanks to our P7 pupils for their help setting up each race.
