Primary 7 Cycling Proficiency Success!

17th Jun 2025

We're thrilled to announce that our Primary 7 pupils have successfully completed their Cycling Proficiency training! They've all received their well-deserved certificates, recognising their hard work and dedication to becoming safer and more confident cyclists.

The training, which took place in school, equipped our pupils with essential skills and knowledge for navigating roads safely. They learned about:

  • Road safety awareness: Understanding traffic signs, signals, and potential hazards.
  • Safe cycling techniques: Proper starting, stopping, turning, and signalling.
  • Bicycle maintenance: Basic checks to ensure their bikes are roadworthy.

Learning to cycle proficiently is a valuable life skill that promotes independence, healthy living and, most importantly, safety on our roads.

A huge well done to all our young cyclists! We encourage them to continue practising their new skills and to always prioritise safety when out on their bikes.
