P1-2 Visit from Newry Fire Brigade
1st Jun 2026
Our Primary 1-2 children had a brilliant visit from the Newry Fire Brigade today! The children were thrilled to see the big red fire engine arrive at school. The firefighters taught them all about fire safety, how to stay safe in an emergency and the important work they do in our community. The absolute highlight of the day was getting a turn to hold the giant hose and spray water across the yard just like real firefighters! We extend a massive thank you to the Newry Fire Brigade team for giving up their time to create such a memorable, hands-on experience for our children.
