Colour Project with St Nicolas' National School, Dundalk
Today a group of our P4 and P5 pupils took part in a wonderful Colour Project, organised by Kids Own in partnership with UNICEF and supported by Peace Plus. The children were delighted to welcome pupils from St Nicolas' National School, Dundalk to our school, where they worked together in our assembly hall.
Under the creative guidance of Ann, an artist, and Trevor, a graphic designer, the pupils engaged in a range of fun, collaborative activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork and friendship. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to meet new friends, share ideas and express themselves through art.
A huge thank you to Dany from Kids Own, and Attracta and Anna from UNICEF for organising such an enjoyable and meaningful day. The pupils had a brilliant time and gained so much from the experience.
We are now very much looking forward to visiting St Nicolas' National School next week for the second part of this exciting project.
