Autism NI Impact Award Achievement

5th Jun 2026

We are delighted to share that we have recently been awarded the Autism NI Impact Award for Education. This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to supporting and including autistic and neurodivergent pupils, as well as their families.

As part of this process, our staff took part in specialist training provided by Autism NI. Following this, we developed and implemented a tailored action plan, making meaningful adjustments across the school to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

Christine Kearney, Director of Development at Autism NI, said: “We are delighted that St Oliver Plunkett's has achieved the Impact Award. Through their training and action plan, the school has introduced a range of practical and meaningful changes to improve accessibility. This award reflects their clear commitment to building an inclusive culture for their pupils, and their dedication to continuing to develop positive and accessible opportunities for all.”

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and will continue striving to ensure our school is a welcoming, inclusive place where every child feels supported and valued.
