Digital Leaders receive training from Apple
Today the Digital Leaders attended a training workshop at the Apple Store in Victoria Square, Belfast. They met with an iGenius called Conor who was full of tips, tricks and praise! The children spent the morning exploring the app ‘Garageband’ and finding out how they could bring this knowledge back into school to share with their peers.
They were challenged to make an original ‘rock’ track during the session which they had to share by the end of their workshop. The children worked independently and asked some super questions about the special features of the app.
All that training made for some very hungry children! After lunch they went on a tour of Victoria Square. They loved using the glass lift to go to the top of the building to take in the views of sunny Belfast. The DL's also worked on a secret project- all will be revealed soon!!!
The children were very enthusiastic about this wonderful experience and are all keen to share their learning across the school. Well done to Blaithin, Aoife, Ella, Cullan, Jay and Conall for representing our school so well today!
